DESCRIPTION:It’s time for the 2025 Physics Reunion!\nThe time has come! Register now for the Guilford College Physics Department reunion March 14 – 15\, 2025. We have a weekend of programming that will allow you to hear from one another\, connect with current students\, and much more. \nOn March 14\, Tom English ’82\, will give the 20th Sheridan Simon lecture.  Tom has taught undergraduate physics and astronomy\, and directed observator outreach programs\, for 36 years\, first at Gardner-Webb University and then at Guilford Technical Community College. His primary professional interests are astronomy education/outreach\, dark skies advocacy\, and the history of astronomy\, specifically nineteenth century solar eclipse expeditions and the rise of astrophysics. \nYou’ll find on the registration page an opportunity to volunteer to be a conference presenter. Are you interested in speaking about your current or past work?  Your perspective on an interesting challenge facing society?  An observation you have made about the world?  We have presentation opportunities on both Friday and Saturday.
